Purpose of loan: We have just finished building our new home, where we will be residing for the next 20+ years while raising our two little boys (3 & 5)! The only item remaining to be completed is the final landscaping. We have received an acceptable bid of $17,300, and we will fund all but $7500 in cash into the project, financing the rest with Prosper. We could use a local bank, however they want a 2nd mortgage. We usually reserve this in case our business needs it, and the bank rate was not low enough to justify the 2nd mortgage. We have a great deal of equity in the home. ($300k +) We are excellent candidates for this loan because: We have been self employed for 10+ years and my wife handles all of the accounting and bookkeeper ing for our Company, We have grown the business steadily over the years. We are very diligent about our credit rating and expenditures, as evidenced by our A Credit rating, We will have $925 available per month to service this loan with Prosper, plus whatever is earned by my wife in consulting fees.
