Hi   It is always an interesting question when you are asked to describe yourself but here goes.  I love music, art, reading, and nature.  I am a humanitarian and believe very much in cultural diversity.   I am a single mother to an incredible teenage daugher.  She is a magnificent person and I am honored to be her Mom.  I divorced her father several years ago - two good people, just not a good marriage.  He has struggled greatly over many years, not able to hold down a job and recently having a massive stroke.  I am trying to help as much as I can but have found that the financial aspect of parenting as well as being a compassionate person has taken its toll.

My ex and I struggled financially and I am still having to repair some of the financial damage that occurred during my marriage.  We did have a bankruptcy five years ago.  Since then, I have worked to establish my credit as a single woman.  I am a professional with a Masters in Psychology working as a HR Director.  I am dedicated and hard working and very responsible.

My ultimate goal on my previous loan was to buy a house and I am so grateful and touched that I did receive that loan.  Giving my daughter that stability, particularly with her father in such a precarious situation,  means so much to me!  and I was able to get a good size yard (all weeds right now but the potential!)....I grew up eating home grown tomatoes and miss the taste! 

But the repairs are hurting me.  I purchased an older house because it has a solid foundation and so much character!  I have been able to handle most of the work that needed to be done but I need a new furnace and hot water heater - which is why I am requesting your help with this loan.  Credit score dropped because of using credit cards for my daughters braces.  I can afford this loan and have budgeted out six months to ensure that with a raise coming in December.

I have started a kindness fund to teach my daughter about giving.  Each month she picks the charity we are going to give to - we have donated to everything from cancer research to adopting a manatee!  The art of giving, of being kind, is such an important lesson to give.   And now I am asking for help as well......thank you for considering me and for your generosity - it is greatly appreciated!
