Hi, In January 2006 I moved to a new city and got a new job. I had to buy all new furniture. Combined with moving expenses I ended up with a quite large expense. Fortunately family and friends helped me out and gave me some money for that. They helped in my time of need, now the shoe's on another foot and I have to repay the debt. In total I need to pay off about $3,000. Unfortunately MA only lets me borrow a minimum of $6,001. I would pay some of the loan right away. In addition, the interest rate I'm requesting is the highest MA will allow (22.75%, I also can't offset the 1.25% I get for being a memeber of a group). Here are some facts about me. I graduated from University of Massachusetts in 2004 with a degree in Computer Science and Mathematics. I started work the very next day after my graduation ceremony. I worked with the same company for about a year and a half. In January 2006 I decided to move from Western Massachusetts to Eastern part of the state for personal reasons. I got a new job, which is where I am now. My position is mainly software development (web development using ASP.NET 2.0 w/C#). In addition I do some IT/networking work. My salary is $51,000 a year (I get paid semi-monthly; 3 consecutive paystubs can be found at <a href="http://www.warrantywombat.net/paystub.htm">www.warrantywombat.net/paystub.htm</a>); in addition, my group leader did a salary verification with my employer over the phone. All my expenses (including food, gas etc.) add up to about $2,000/month, which leaves me with over $800 every month to pay off this debt. I have never filed for bankruptcy (which can be verified at <a onclick="return top.js.OpenExtLink(window,event,this)" href="http://pacer.psc.uscourts.gov/" target=_blank>http://pacer.psc.uscourts.gov/</a>. My current credit score is due to mistakes I made in college. I've been repaying the debt steadily. All my accounts are current.
