Purpose of loan: The purpose of this loan is to repay a loan from a family member that helped us close on property that we recently purchased. We had previously listed a request for help with the full amount we needed to close, but no luck. Thankfully, we were able to sell an atv we did not need or use, save, and borrow the rest from a wonderful relative. I did not want to do this (I never want to owe a friend or family member) but we were going to lose the property if we didn't close. We had pushed it back as long as possible. Anyway, I'm sure some of you know how I feel about owing a relative so I really want to get this taken care of NOW! My financial situation: I believe that I am a good candidate for repaying this loan because of my recent credit and employment history. I have worked as an elementary teacher for the same district for 6 years and during that time I have not had any negative credit issues. The public record listed is for a bankruptcy that happened due to my divorce. It was discharged in 5/2002. Any negative marks on my credit report were included in the bankruptcy. I have worked extremely hard to rebuild my credit since and I can guarantee that I will not do anything to compromise it. Also, I am currently more than half-way through the completion of a Master's Degree in School Admin. and I am awaiting results to see if I have become National Board Certified. I certainly have potential to increase my income a substantial amount in a few short years. I was recently remarried to a great man and we are anxious to build a life of our own and create our own memories. If you have any questions please ask.
