Purpose of loan:
This loan will be used to satisfy a court judgment against me. I had a dispute over damages, deposits, and rents with two former roommates, and unfortunately the court did not find in my favor. I'm now in need of $2911.43 to satisfy the judgment.

My financial situation:
I am a good candidate for this loan because I've honored every debt that I have acquired of my own choosing. My credit report only has one negative mark, and that's for an ambulance ride that I was given while still in high school -- I couldn't afford to pay the bill, and I couldn't have chosen not to take the ride. That one negative mark aside, on the many debts I've assumed, I've always paid on time and usually in excess of the minimum monthly payment.

I've been employed full-time since graduating from university in June 2007. From June of 2007 until just recently, I was an IT manager at a single employer. I've recently started a new job as a Systems Administrator after voluntarily leaving my last employer. I'm being paid a higher salary than I was earning just a couple of weeks ago, which will net me about $320 extra per month after taxes. I'm fitting in well, enjoying the work, the company is rapidly expanding, and I expect that I'll be working here for at least a few years. In the long term, I want to become free of my consumer debt and then work toward a master's degree in computer science.

Monthly net income: $ 3125

Monthly expenses: $ 1977

Housing: $ 525
Auto loan: $171
Auto insurance: $91
Utilities: $ 75
Cable, internet: $ 50
Cellular phone: $ 74
Food, entertainment: $ 400
Clothing, household expenses $ 100
Consumer credit (sum of current minimum payments): $ 400
Student loans: $ 91

You'll see that there's quite a large gap between my monthly net income and monthly expenses. I've been making great progress in paying off my debts with that surplus, and could pay for this judgment with a cash advance, but I definitely want to avoid drawing a cash advance from my credit cards. Thank you for your help!
