Purpose of loan: This loan will be used to: 1) Pay of auto loan I went abroad for 8 months and left my car at my friend's house for safekeeping and gave him money to pay the monthly car payment. However, he didn't pay for it and went abroad. By the time I came back, the car was repossesed. I have discuss with the bank and they willing to settle. 2) Credit card bill My have have multiple sclerosis and her hand is now not strong enough to push a manual wheelchair, especially living in the bay are. So we need to get an electric scooter. The insurance only cover ONE wheelchair (the manual one) and will not pay for the 2nd wheelchair, be it electric or manual (we just found that out!). So I have to pay for a new electric scooter myself. Additionally my wife need leg braces callipers due to the above. So I ended up charging it to my credit card. My financial situation: I am a good candidate for this loan because I am not the type of person that spend a lot of money and charge a lot of credit card bill. I have high income by working with a reputable Big 4 firms. My credit grade rating is due to that one repossessed car and an old bad credit card debt from 2001. But that's due to the dot-com bust and that was the ONLY ONE credit card that I was unable to pay since I lost my job. Everything else is current (see my credit report). Monthly net income: $ 7,000 Monthly expenses: $ Housing: $ 2000 Insurance: $ 150 Car expenses: $ 800 (majority of gas paid by employer through mileage reimbursement) Utilities: $ 100 (electricity and landline) Phone, cable, internet: $ 100 (my cell phone bill is paid by employer) Food, entertainment: $ 800 (self, wife, daughter - majority of cost goes to food, especially when I travel to client site) Clothing, household expenses $ 700 (include medicines for my wife) Credit cards and other loans: $ 1,000 (will be reduced A LOT when I get the loan from Prosper) Other expenses: $ 0 |
