Purpose of loan: I have three daughters in college and, while I've been able to cover tuition pretty well there have been added (unforseen) expenses that I've used my credit cards to pay for. The interest rate on my cards is TOO HIGH, so I want to consolidate to a lower rate, which will help me get the balances paid off faster. My financial situation: I have steady employment as a banker. I've been with the same community development bank for the last 11 years. I'm very responsible and, as a single parent, raised three great daughters - all of whom are in college or trade school.
