Purpose of loan: I plan on using part of the loan to pay off the $6,000 personal loan @ 16.74% interest rate that is with our credit union, we would save $189 per month paying this off and to pay off $1,970 @ 12.68% (we would save $60+ per month) on the one credit card that we have and only keep it for emergency use. Also we plan to pay off the property tax (escrow balance $3,120) of our mortgage which will save us $637.88 per month on our mortgage payments (we have a fixed rate 30 yr. mortgage @ 6.95%). We will also buy a generator to keep our sump pumps working when we lose electricity and to purchase an add'l wood burning pellet stove/furnace ($6,000) to help offset our oil consumption this coming winter, with this furnace we will save $1,200-1,500 during the heating season. Also, this loan will be used to repair my 2002 vehicle (it needs front rotors & brake pads) it has 108,000 miles on it! I would also like to put stairs on a deck to our house that was never finished and I need to replace my washing machine that just quit, it was 12 years old! Our combined Monthly Gross Income is $5,200, Electric $100, Phone $45, Cable $60, Vehicle expenses $150. Bank Card Utilization 33%! - I use my two debit cards for almost everything! My financial situation: If I received this loan, it would free up our cash flow which would allow us to comfortably repay this loan obligation. I am a good candidate for this loan because I have worked over the past 16+ years for two small Towns and realize the financial committments and sacrifices we all have to make with the economy the way it is today. I take very seriously my financial obligations and I'm very dedicated to my job and my family. I raised a son by myself for eleven years, during which time I purchased my own home and worked three jobs and never lived or relied upon welfare.
