Purpose of loan: This loan will be used to?pay off credit cards and give me some cash to reroof my house. I bought this house as is and there is water damage from the leaky roof that I need to get repaired. With the rising costs of gas and utilities and my credit card bills, I don't have the money I need to get repairs done and continue to pay all my bills. This loan would allow me to consolidate my high interest credit accounts and have money to repair and reshingle the roof. This is a grand old home and will be worth much more than I paid it for when completely remodeled/renovated. My financial situation: I am a good candidate for this loan because? I have a very secure job and for a single wage earner make good money. I have been paying extra against the principle of my home loan and making extra payments on my credit card bills. I had health problems 10 years ago that set me back on most of my bills then and I am still recovering from the set back to my credit rating. I continue to have a delinquency showing on my credit report from a bill of my daughters that is about 15 years old. Even though I have repeatedly tried to get this off my report they continue to report this as a delinquency on my credit. I paid a collection agency years ago for this just to get it off my credit report but never got credit for the payment. I have worked very hard since then to pay my bills on time and still make improvements to my home.
