Who am I:
I'm a hard-working responsible single woman who has been at the same job for nearly 4 years. I am currently employed in Administration and have been in this field for over 12 years working for high-end CEO's, President's, VP's and Directors. I currently live in the home Prosper helped me buy last May and have two beautiful dogs and no kids.

Purpose of loan:
The purpose of my loan is to do remodeling on my first home. I closed on my very first home last May after several years of struggling and building credit back up from a divorce. I went through a divorce a few years ago (why scores are so low), and have had to live with friends until now. Thanks to Prosper helping me with my closing cost, I was able to close on my first home, and also worked hard this year to pay off my Proper account in which I now owe $0. The cost of my home was 160K, and I need to do some updating to the appliances, air conditioner, bathroom and kitchen flooring to make this home more efficient to live in. It was built in 1950 and needed these updates long before now.  I worked extra hard last year to pay off all the negative reflections on my credit report so that I could get my scores up to purchase the home and I met that goal. I would be greatly appreciative to be able to make this home perfect and with your help will be able to do so, and will work extra hard again to pay it back even sooner then required. I also have worked enough to go from an E rating to a D through Prosper and have made all my payments on time.

My financial situation:
I am more then worthy than my credit report would indicate. I have been at the same company for almost 4 years getting a yearly increase of over 5% each year. I was rated at the highest possibe rating the past 2 years in a row. This along with my consistent income makes me more than a good candidate to lend to. I paid all the negative reflections off my credit history, paid off my first Prosper loan in less then a year, and can now take the several hundreds of dollars I was paying on them and pay back the one loan to Prosper. I do not have a problem making payments on loans; I just can't come up with $10000.00 to put into updating my home.

Monthly Budget
Monthly Net Income: $3300.00
Total Monthly Expenses: $2400.00

Monthly expenses:
$150 Food (my boyfriend pays for our activities)
$1300 house payment
$650 car pymt./insurance/gas
$100 cc pymts. (30-40 on 3 cards)
$200 miscellaneous spending

*I work from home, and my company pays for my phone line and DSL. I do not have cable!*

This leaves $900.00 a month for payment to Prosper and savings.
As you can see my problem is not income...It is the results of a divorce and my credit report reflecting this.

I promise to fulfill my obligation to Prosper.com and its lenders every month as I have all my creditors in the past. I have enough leftover income each month to pay my Prosper loan and to follow my credit improvement plan. I will have all Prosper payments deducted automatically from my checking account so all payments will always be on time!
