Purpose of loan: This loan will be used to pay for $3,200 fall semester tuition for my MBA degree. I am enrolled full-time in the program and expect to graduate in August 2009. Also, I may pay this loan off within 6-12 months and borrow for a longer term in the spring semester. My financial situation: I am a good candidate for this loan because I have an excellent credit history. I have no debt except for about $1,000 on a 0% no-interest card until January 2009, and I pay all my credit cards in full each month. I own my own condominium and have no mortgage. Before graduate school I worked as a public accountant for about 3 years, and I currently have liquid cash and investments in excess of $50,000. I would normally pay for the tuition with cash but I decided to try out borrowing on Prosper as I also do some lending on here now as well. While in school, each month I am selling (on eBay) a small portion of collectibles my family has accumulated from past businesses and personal hobbies. This is reflected below with my current monthly budget which is as follows: Income: eBay (approx.) 1,200 Interest on cash 100 Total Income 1,300 Expenses: Food, gas 500 Condo Assoc.
