Purpose of loan: This loan will be used to? Purpose of loan: The purpose of this loan is to enable me to purchase equipment with which to once again operate a commercial horse drawn carriage service. I had successfully operated just such a service with 5 carriages, 12 horses and several employees for over 12 years. In 2003, I had a job opportunity come along that would enable me to realize great earnings while learning a great deal about my other passion which is custom home, furniture design and construction. Unfortunately, that position required me to work every Saturday and caused scheduling conflicts with the carriage service. I chose to get out of the carriage service and sold my equipment. Now, five years later, my schedule again allows me the luxury of every weekend off and I am anxious to return to this passion of mine. The carriage service is certainly lucrative. An average wedding service pays $500 to $600.00 and it is not uncommon to perform two wedding services on the same day. As importantly, this service which brings joy to the hearts of others (and mine too!) I take great pride in the way that my service is presented and will share details of this with potential lenders, but unfortunately, Prosper doesn't allow me the space to express myself in detail! Since getting out of the business five years ago, no one has come into my "territory" with a carriage service to replace my fine works! I still have all of my old promotional connections ( flower shops, churches, tux shops and reception halls) all "chomping at the bit" (pun intended) to see me start again! After being out of the business for five years, I'm still receiving calls each month requesting the service! It's time to go back to my passion in providing others with this very elegant and unique service. My financial situation: I am a good candidate for this loan because having been in the business for such a long time before; I know this industry like the back of my hand. I know how to promote it and I know how to forecast my estimated earnings. I have a very accurate knowledge of the "seasonal lulls" and I know how to budget accordingly so that all expenses (including loan payments) are covered through the winter with the earnings from the autumn and Christmas seasons. My debt to income may appear top heavy based on my full time job earnings; however, I also have other earnings that are not reflected in my W-2's. These earnings are realized through the design and sale of my custom furniture pieces, kitchens and baths that are built for my clients by local craftsmen. I plan to re-pay this loan though income realized from performing this service. In addition, I currently have other assets for sale which upon the sale will reduce my monthly bills by over $300.00. Further, I will be receiving an inheritance within the next 24 months in the amount of just over $20K. Monthly Income: $1,800. Base salary plus commisions from W-2 Job. Projected with carriage service: $1,000 to $2,500.00 Monthly expenses: $ Housing: $ 1,000.00 Insurance: $ Home Taxes and Insurance are included in figure above. Car expenses: $ Vehicle is owned outright-Truck insurance $85.00 per month Utilities: $132,00 Phone, cable, internet: $ 40.00 Food, entertainment: $ 150.00 Clothing, household expenses $ 20.00 Credit cards and other loans: $ 400.00 Oth |
