Purpose of loan: To consolidate Credit Card debt in order to lower monthly payments so we can better prepare for the coming baby My financial situation: I am a good candidate for this loan because I am committed to my job, my family, and getting myself out of this debt. Most of the debt I will be paying off is related to the wedding and the move from Maryland to New England when I changed jobs this past winter (to be closer to my family and my in-laws). I was previously a civil servant who worked for the federal government for almost 6 years, prior to changing jobs. I was fortunate enough to obtain another job serving the American people, this time as an information analyst for a non-profit organization that works with law enforcement to combat auto theft and insurance fraud. With this consolidation, the lowered monthly payments (Currently at about 700 a month, in total - including the extra we are putting in above minimum payment) will be much more manageable, and will enable us to rebuild our savings and better prepare for the coming changes when our little one is born in February. |
