Purpose of loan: This loan will be used to pay for my wedding. My financial situation: I am a good candidate for this loan because I am (1) gainfully employed with increased earning potential in the near future, (2) have an excellent education (1 Bachelors and 2 Masters degrees from top schools) which means great job security, (3) very good credit with no bad debt, and (4) I am planning for the future (which includes repayment of this loan). The only significant drawback to my current financial situation is that I have a high bankcard ratio (I have very little additional spending available on current lines of credit). This is largely due to several outstanding student loans and higher than ideal credit card balances due to my using credit cards to supplement my scholarship income while in college and and then while in graduate school. I have always maintained on-time payment status for ALL of these debts and look forward to when I have paid them all off. I anticipate that full repayment of all current outstanding loans will be complete in 4-5 years, if I take into account montly payments that I would be making on this Prosper loan at the same time (a 3 year loan).
