Purpose of loan: This loan will be used to Consolidate our debt. We have one $5000 high interest loan for the last 2.5 years and are seeing NO change in the principal. Our credit card debt also makes very little downward motion with our regular payments. So, why pay the banks the interest, why not pay you. We bought our current home two years ago thinking the market would hold. Well, we are working on a refi from an adjustable loan into a fixed. It's going well, but we won't have enough equity in the house to consolidate our little debt. My financial situation: We are good candidates for this loan because, we have been and will/would continue to pay all our debts. I have been with a local government employer for 14 years (16 more until retirement, yeah), I'm not losing this job. The Prosper loan won't drop my monthly payment so much, but with the 3 year term of a Prosper loan, we can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Monthly net income: $ 5782 Monthly expenses: $ Housing: $ 2465 Insurance: $ 187 Car expenses: $ 80 (Carpool to work, gas is cheap) Utilities: $ 120 Phone, cable, internet: $ 169 Food, entertainment: $ 340 Clothing, household expenses $ Credit cards and other loans: $ 532 Other expenses: $ |
