Purpose of loan: This loan will be used to pay off my credit cards. My financial situation: I am a good candidate for this loan because I have a stable history of residence, employment and income. I just completed my PhD (graduating August 2nd) which speaks to my ability to commit, follow through and persevere. I am able to comfortably meet my monthly financial obligations. The issue is that I am not able to pay enough extra on my credit cards to significantly decrease the balances. My desire is to pay them off and close most of the accounts. I believe that if I am able to secure a loan, I may be able to negotiate a lower payoff amount than my balances. Monthly net income: $ 3060 (this figure represents 80% of my monthly salary. I requested a reduced work schedule in January so that I could complete my doctoral studies. I will be returning to 100% work time in August.) Monthly expenses: $ 2853 Housing: $ 1113 Insurance: $ (my house insurance is included in my mortgage payments) Car expenses: $ 325 (fuel and auto insurance ? my 1997 model car is paid for, so I only have liability coverage) Utilities: $ 140 Phone, cable, internet: $125 Food, entertainment: $ 200 Clothing, household expenses $50 Credit cards and other loans: $ 800 - 1000 Other expenses: $ varies ? church contributions |
