Purpose of loan: This loan will be used to pay for some unexpected increase in cost for my son's wedding that happens in 3 weeks. I also have t ocover the hotel costs of some out of town guests so they will be able to attend. This is in addtion to the costs I am already paying My financial situation: I am a good candidate for this loan because I have a great stable job in the Navy and although not included in my income, my wife (a nurse) has a new job that pays her significantly more (over 80K) than past jobs. We are now "empty nesters" and therefore have increased discretionary cash flow, although it has just started. We had a bankruptcy in July 2001 due to my wife's significantly illness and the bills were too significant to overcome at the time. All of our bills since then have been paid on time and/or ahead of time, which should be noted on our credit report.
