Purpose of loan: Working capital for an employee salary as I close a number of prospects over the next several months. I am the franchise owner of an Expetec location in the Denver area. We provide information technology and computer services to small and medium sized businesses, including remote network administration, off-site data backup and disaster recovery, network security and monitoring, web site design and hosting, and a comprehensive virtual IT department. My financial situation: I am a good candidate for this loan because I have industry experience, have always been very responsible with money, and I am now seeing my business take off after a slow beginning. My monthly operating costs are relatively low and it should be easy to break even soon but I need further funding to continue. I was able to secure part of the working capital that I need from another source and now I want to receive the last part of funding from Prosper. As an example of how frugal I am, I was able to save about $100,000 in cash over the five years previous to my venture into self-employment (and the first 3 of those years was as a state government worker with a mid-30K salary). I have less than $1,000 a month a month in personal expenses so I should have no problem paying back this loan. |
