Purpose of loan: This loan will be used to pay off my high interest rate credit cards, I realized I was over spending and stopped but had just kept on paying the high interest rates for several months now. Back when I was spending I was doing so believing that I had no reason not to, then I met the woman I love, fell instantly in love and are getting married in February. I want to have less credit card debt to be a better partner in this relationship. She is a wonderful person who is also a homeowner, so my home and the approximately 25000 home equity will be able to be used towards credit cards and the like when it sells but that won't be until at leat 7 months from now and in this hosuing markket who knows how much longer, and all the while I will be paying 23% or higher interest rates on my credit cards until this happens. We are not likely to have children any time soon as we are waiting until the marriage and she is older. Are expenses are reasonable, we are doing the wedding on a shoe string and all of the expenses that I have for the wedding are already figured into the credit card debt. My financial situation: I am a good candidate for this loan because stable job, at a company that never has layoffs in a white collar job. I have a base income and some bonuses in the form of profit sharing are paid. Am a valuable employee to the company with several licenses and professional designations. My future wife also has a great job makes more money than I do, is a government employee, is financially better off than I am. She has had employer 21 years. We will not be spending very extravagantly because for the most part we have everything we are going to ask people to give us cash for wedding gifts with the excuse that we already have a coffee maker etc. As a matter of my own pride I want to be on the way to getting rid of the high interest cards to be a better financial partner in the marriage. |
