First, I would like to offer my apologies to anyone who bid on my previous listing. I did some thinking and crunched the numbers a bit more and decided to change my listing to a smaller sum.

This loan will be used to invest back in Prosper.

I had previously listed that I thought I could achieve 18% with the system I had come up with. While the reality is I could achieve 18% returns, it would take me 9 months to invest all the capital I was requesting in a broad enough spectrum to get there. Instead, I am requesting a smaller amount and looking to invest the majority of it in the first 30 days ($1,500). I should be able to achieve 15% on this initial $1,500. The remaining $500 will be invested over a longer period of time looking to maximize my return.

I am a good candidate for this loan because I have a steady job. I work full time as a consultant/contractor for a very large telecommunications company. My consulting firm has a 15 year history with them. The recent inquiries on my credit report were all due to the purchase of mine and my wifes first home. Purchase price of $235,000 and we put $47,000 down. The standing credit balance it says I am revolving is not entirely accurate. This is the credit balance that bounces around on my personal card that I use for company expenses (free miles yay). It is paid off more or less in full every two weeks when I get paid. I do not use my CC for any personal purchases.

Monthly Net Income - $4,500
Monthly Expenses - $2,760

Housing: $ 1500.00 (including taxes)
Insurance: $ 175.00
Car expenses: $410
Utilities: $ 175.00
Phone, cable, internet: $100.00
Food, entertainment: $ 300.00
Clothing, household expenses $ 100.00

Once again, sorry for wasting anyone's time with my initial listing if you were bidding manually.

P.S. I was going to take out a small sum from my first loan to install hardwood floors in the den of my new house. I fell into a little bit of extra cash earlier this week (online poker player, profittable for the last 5 years) via a first place finish on a tournament of 1,500 players and will use that money instead to finance my floors.

Let me know if you have any questions.
