Purpose of loan:
This loan will be used to furnish my new two bedroom townhome that I am renting in Bloomington, Indiana.  I am getting married August 15, and would like to furnish my place so that my wife and I can enjoy our new home. The remainder of the money will  be used to defray some of the expenses of getting married.

My financial situation:
I am a good candidate for this loan because I recently got a job as a patent attorney ( started April 1, 2008).  I have just got done paying off any unpaid balances I had. I am in zero debt except for student loans which I am in the process of consolidating.  I make enough money (gross income is 94,500 at 1500 billable hours annually.  Every hour I bill after that makes me 47 dollars after tax.  Average law firms expect associates to bill 1850 hours, so I am capable of making around 120,000 a year.

My past credit history was a result of being unemployed while I went to law school in Chicago. I have now managed to clear all those past debts up and am using the remainder of what I have earned to go towards my wedding.  I would finance my home furniture but I cannot get approved for credit b/c of bad credit from the past. There is an amount delinquint on my credit report which stems from my student loan payments for a month. Because I have gotten them consolidated, the amount due will be adjusted to the new loan payments.

I believe my new job will eventually help build my credit but right now, I am sort of stuck. I can't afford to ruin my credit again and with a well paying job, I know I have no difficulties in paying my loans now.
