Purpose of loan: This loan will be used to consolidate credit card debt in an effort to more quickly pay down the balance. My financial situation: I am a good candidate for this loan because? The bulk of the debt incurred by my wife and I has been through the dissolution of a previous business we owned and operated when I graduated from school. We were unfortunately living off credit until that point getting the business up and running. To make a long story short I was offered another position in another office that had a significantly better upside in the near future. I closed the office to take the position and thought that even though we would be taking a hit financially closing the office just when it was becoming profitable our long term prospects were much brighter. We had diligently been paying on the debt incurred but had been unable to make significant headway over the past two years due to high interest cards. Add to this some unfortunate timing with the purchase/sale of our home and we find ourselves in a tough situation. My wife is also currently employed full time in the insurance industry and the income stated does not include $50,000 made by her. We have excellent credit and can currently pay much more than the minimums on our current credit cards. However, we are looking for a more steady and manageable solution to do so. We've been offered an opportunity to purchase the business I currently run sooner than we expected and need to be able to show the stability of our financial situation. A lower rate on our current debt and lower principal balance would go a long way towards this goal. We are committed to living below our means and paying this debt down as fast as possible. |
