Purpose of loan: The purpose of this loan is money for a 20% down payment and closing costs on 2.5 acres of lakeview land that my husband and I would like to purchase. We have already made an offer and paid $1000 earnest money. We are now heading towards closing and in need of these funds. We have used most of our current resources to get our home ready to be put on the market. It is currently listed for a price that will give us a profit of close to $50,000. This will of course be used to pay off all of our debt and put the rest towards the cost of building our new (less expensive) home. The home will not be started until we sell our current home ( We have some very interested buyers) and pay off debt, but we do not want to let this land pass us by. It is a very good investment and an excellent place for our new house! My financial situation: I believe that I am a good candidate for repaying this loan because of my recent credit and employment history. I have worked as an elementary teacher for the same district for 6 years and during that time I have not had any negative credit issues. The public record listed is for a bankruptcy that happened due to my divorce. It was discharged in 5/2002. Any negative marks on my credit report were included in the bankruptcy. I have worked extremely hard to rebuild my credit since and I can guarantee that I will not do anything to compromise it. Also, I am currently more than half-way through the completion of a Master's Degree in School Admin. and I am awaiting results to see if I have become National Board Certified. I certainly have potential to increase my income a substantial amount in a few short years. I was recently remarried to a great man and we are anxious to build a life of our own and create our own memories. If you have any questions please ask.
