Purpose of loan:
To payoff unexpected car repair bills and the cost of CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) Level I exam and test preparation tools that have accrued on two credit cards.

My financial situation:
I am a full-time employee of Wachovia Securities making an annual salary of $65k a year + 25-75% of salary as annual bonus.  I own a one bedroom condo which I am currently paying a mortgage on.  I made the mistake 2 years ago of buying an expensive car (Mercedes) and as the expenses built up I finally came to the conclusion that it was not a wise, sound financial decision.  Last week, I decided to part with my exponentially depreciating asset and bought a more reasonable car (Hyundai Sonata).  I needed a car that got better gas mileage and got me from point A to point B.  Unfortunately, while I had the Mercedes, the upkeep and service of the car forced me to build up some debt on my credit cards.  On top of the car bills, I decided about a month ago to sign up for CFA Level I exam in December 2008.  The exam and the test prep tools cost a little over eleven hundred dollars.

Here is a breakdown of my monthly income and expenses:
Net income: $3,555
Condo Cost (Mortgage, HOA, Power, Cable, etc): $1066
Car Cost (Loan & Ins): $580
Student Loan: $170
Other (Cell, Dental, Etc): $140

That leaves me with a little less than $1,600 a month for food/gas and plenty left over to pay off this potential loan.  Lastly, since I will be studying the majority of the time outside of work, I won't have much time to spend any money!

Thanks for taking the time to read my proposal and I hope you find me worthy of lending to.
