I was accepted to CSULA to start classes this fall, and have been trying everything I can to afford to attend, Its not so much the cost of the school as it is the cost of living in the area. I don't have family in the area or even in the state that could help me so I am on my own when it comes to financing my living arrangements and education. What is the purpose of this loan?: The purpose of my loan is to allow me to go to School in the upcoming semester by helping me to Pay for both housing and the move down to the area. Why am I a good candidate?: To start, I am a good candidate for this loan because of my past Loan History on Prosper. I have used this service once before and it was able to help me out of a very tight spot a couple years ago, and I was able to pay back the full amount in less than a year. Since then I have been working hard to build up and maintain a strong credit score because at the time of my first loan, I did not have any. I just want to complete my education. Since my last loan I completed work on three of the four of the Associates Degrees I was working on, and I would like to take one of those degrees and expand it into a full Bachelors Degree. Los Angeles seems like the prime choice because in addition to living and going to school in one of the largest media cities in the world, I will be learning from individuals who actually work in the field as well as have what I believe to be an easier time finding employment if im in an area where all the work is being done. How Will I pay back the Loan?: I am a Hard worker, always have been, and most likely always will be. At the moment in addition to running my own event videography business, I work for 2 local television stations in various capacities with a fair amount of work from one of them airing on CNN each month. The jobs right now are steady but the only business moving with me will be my own. Work in my field will be easy to find, and recently I received a request for my first interview to line up a job. So it shouldn't take long at all. Just like last time I don't plan to lolly gag around and let my loan default. While its unlikely ill pay it back with the same speed I did last time, it be paid back in full well before the end of the loan time period.
