Purpose of loan: This loan will be used to pay for a car to use until I can install a new engine in my current one and sell it. I recently was driving about 100 miles from home when the engine shot a rod and needs to be replaced. I have prepared pulling the current engine and will be installing a new one in the next couple (2-3) weeks (or sooner if possible). I plan to sell either this car or the one I plan to purchase, which should be worth $2500-3000. This loan is expected to be short term and paid off within the next couple months. I go to school full time as an engineering student but am off until September because of summer break. My financial situation: I am a good candidate for this loan because I work a full time job and have worked a full time job all through school. I have minimal expenses and am very responsible, I have never made a late payment and usually pay my credit card balances at the end of the month. I have paid for most nearly all of my schooling with cash since I have started 2 years ago I only have one loan of $1900 for my last quarter which I had planned to pay off this summer. I keep a decent GPA and work very hard. I currently make $11.00/hr and work 37 hrs a week (the maximum my current employer allows me to work). I also receive $1500/yr for tuition at this employer. I start another full time job next week which will be $12.00/hr. Monthly net income: Currently ~$1200 with my single employer.
