Purpose of loan: This loan will be used to reinvest into prosper. I currently am lending $1050 of my own money. I have well over the loan amount in savings. It is earmarked for other investments. I also have a Roth IRA and 401k that are worth well over the amount of this loan. I want to leverage what I have invested already and grow my net worth. I also recently got a 10% raise at work which will more than cover the payment on this loan. My financial situation: I am a good candidate for this loan because I always pay on time. I only use 2 credit cards for work and personal expenses (to get skymiles, I love to travel) and pay them off every month. My car is paid off. I do not own my home, I rent with 2 roommates. Here are my Numbers (not including bonuses from work and other income): Take home pay: ~2848.00 Rent: 385 Gas: 200 Food: 400 Insurance: 300 Utils: 190 (including cell phone) 401k: 120 Misc: 400 Disposable Income: ~850 (I normally use this for travel, incidentals, extra savings, etc) Feel free to ask questions!
