Purpose of loan: We have just finished building our new home, where we will be residing for the next 20+ years while raising our two little boys (3 & 5)! The only item remaining to be completed is the final landscaping. We have received an acceptable bid of $17,300, and we will put $2,300 in cash into the project, financing the rest with Prosper. We could use a local bank, however they want a 2nd mortgage. We usually reserve this in case our business needs it, and the bank rate was not low enough to justify the 2nd mortgage. We have a great deal of equity in the home. ($300k +) We are excellent candidates for this loan because: We have been self employed for 10+ years and my wife handles all of the accounting and bookkeeper ing for our Company, We have grown the business steadily over the years.
