Purpose of loan: This loan will be used to pay off my mother's final expenses. She died having cashed out her insurance policies previously and I am paying off her nursing home expenses. The nursing home bill is $6,050. She left an annuity that I receive a payment of $431 per month until 2014. I would like to pay off the bill and use the annuity to make the monthly payment to Prosper. My financial situation: We declared bankruptcy 6 years ago when the company I worked for went out of business. My credit shows 1 deliquent, which was charged off. We now live on my husband's income, which pays all our monthly expenses. I started a new career 18 months, real estate, and have built a good business. I have closed 12 transactions since January and have 4 more to close in July. My income pays for my car and business expenses and will be used for our daughter's college expenses. My credit card balances are higher than usual as I used them to pay some of my mother's expenses such as the funeral and final medical bills not covered by insurance. I want to pay off the nursing home so I can start paying down the credit card balances and putting some money away in savings.
