ABOUT ME:

I am 57 years old, engaged to be married, and have been a resident of Orange County, California for 25 years living mostly in Huntington Beach, Westminster and now Garden Grove. I have a full-time night job as an expeditor for a packaging company in Irvine, CA. I am rooted here, AND STABLE, as my mother and sister live close by me, and my business and personal support group is here.

I have one CURRENT loan with Prosper which is paid down to $1670 from $2550 borrowed.

EXPLANATION OF BAD CREDIT:

Two years ago my credit score was above 700. My sales were low (business startup), and as a commitment to my creditors, I sold several of my personal assets to keep my payment history 100% current. I increased my personal indebtedness during 2006 to support my company through a difficult startup period, and a portion of my personal credit is actually business credit. That increase in personal debt dropped my credit score and increased my debt to income ratio.

PURPOSE OF LOAN:

I intend to use a portion of the money to create an effective brochure on a new cardiovascular product (non-drug) that reduces arterial plaque. Additionally, I will use a portion of the money for website enhancement to include the new maternity and kids health products as well as the new cardiovascular product. The balance of funds will be used for inventory.

$4,800 ?loan request
  • $500 ?brochure design
  • $430 ?printing of 1000 brochures
  • $1,000 ?website redesign
  • $2,870 ?inventory

The two latest product lines I now have (Everidis Health Sciences and YES™) are excellent for children, maternity and cardiovascular health: 3 very big markets. And, I have not updated my website since May 2006, so these new products are not shown on my website.

MONTHLY FINANCIAL DETAILS:

I have a full time evening job that takes the burden off of my business to provide for me. My monthly personal expenses are (Rent $450, Car loan $305, Revolving Debt $299, Car insurance $80, Gas $150, Incidentals $50). I eat for free. Some of my personal credit is paid by the business, because, that part was used 100% for business, and those personal credit expenses that are for business use are combined into my business monthly expense of $1,100.

I have generated some sales of the new cardiovascular product ($1,036 within the first month), but lack inventory and a story: things that will be remedied by the brochure, website and added inventory.Following funding by Prosper, projected sales (conservative) of the just new cardiovascular product alone (first three months) are $10,360: $2,590 the first month after funding, with a 30% gross profit.

CLOSING REMARKS TO LENDERS:

Heart disease is the number 1 killer of Americans. I am positioned with a brand new cardiovascular nutraceutical that makes sense. I have the best new line of probiotics for children, infants and adults that is doctor recommended. I have the best morning sickness remedy on the market. I want to make better use of the phone, and avoid the time and expense of preparing and mailing information packets to prospective accounts. I also need inventory to back up my marketing efforts, particularly with some of the larger health food stores. Thank you!
