Purpose of loan: Get out of consumer debt, then we'll work on the house loan. My financial situation: I changed jobs last fall, thus only about 9 months at my current location, I am a plant accountant, prior to that I was a controller for 4 years at a manufacturing company. They came after me and paid me more so I jumped. I bring home ~4k month net after tax, House 1200 Utilities 300 Food 500 Gas 500 Donations 650 Current credit cards $220 & $300 The 220 is setup to auto-draft, the $300 is what I am paying, but the minimum is like $125. I have made a few loans using prosper, and thought, maybe I could take one and pay this off, and let someone else make some interest rather than the banks.
