Purpose of loan: I will use this loan to pay off credit card debt that i accumulated while I pursued the dual dreams of law school completion and rock and roll stardom. I achieved the first dream, and have been practicing as a criminal defense attorney for three years. I realized part of the way toward achieving the second that I didn't really want it to come true, because it came with too many conditions, so now I am satisfied being an "amateur" musician, in the truest sense of the term. I look forward to my new goals: getting married in a year, and purchasing a larger home in five years. Ridding myself of the high interest payments I make on my existing credit card balances will go a long way toward making both of those new goals achievable. My financial situation: I am a good candidate for this loan because I have attained a position of personal and financial stability. I have recently accepted a stable position as an associate attorney with the law firm at which I got my start. I own a home, along with my fiancee and the bank. Although my credit history has a few blemishes, most of those were the result of trying to juggle credit card debt to when I was forced by circumstances to live just beyond my budget. As I now earn a reliable income, that is no longer a concern. |
