Purpose of loan: This loan will be used to pay the emergency assessments on the condominium building, since we need to paint the building, replace the elevator, have the fire-safety equipment updated and other minor repairs, since the building is over 40 years old and has to have certain items certified under the current code. My financial situation: I am a good candidate for this loan because I have never been late on my mortgage, taxes, maintenance or any credit payment. I have been making installments towards the special assessment of $100 monthly. I have a small loan with my credit union [appr. $2,000] and have never been late with that.My credit card balance is less than $300 and I live a very frugal life. When the first special assessment, in 2006, was issued I sold my car to pay it. I do not have cable or a cell phone. I have been gainfully employeed, full-time for over 30 years. I currently have a retirement account, for public employess, with my employer. My 'debt to income' ratio is not acceptable to be eligible for any other type of loan. When I receive the loan from you I will, also, pay off my credit union loan, my current installment of $77 monthly. I attempted to get a home equity loan, but that isn't possible since I have only been an owner for 3 years and do not have the equity necessary. The amount of equity has been impacted by the current housing economy. I have no other source to borrow the money from and I have been so stressed about my situation. I would be eternally grateful if I could borrow this amount. |
