Purpose of loan: My daughter is a sophomore at the University of GA and wants to move off campus. Of course this means she will need a car, furnishings, and all the other things we take for granted. In her last semester, she dipped below the GPA requirement to maintain her scholarship, so my wife and I have to make up the difference for her tuition this Fall. Unfortunately, that does not leave enough to purchase a car I would feel safe with her driving (daddy's girl) or the balance of furnishings after she goes through our house. My financial situation: My wife and I have worked diligently to repay all of our obligations in a timely manner. In fact, we have not had any late payments of any sort in the past seven years. We are strict budgeters and give careful consideration to every expenditure. In my profile, my DTI is overstated because we have two rental properties and I have student loans that are deferred but show a payment amount none the less. We are in the process of selling one of the rental properties, which will allow us to pay off all revolving debt and one car. I assure you there will not be any difficulty in repaying our loan. We have made all of the payments of our previous Prosper loan on time with no exceptions. The change in my credit grade is largely due to a real estate project I am involved in. While all payments have been made on time, it does lower my score due to the ratio between available credit and balance. Monthly net income: $7,750 Monthly expenses: Housing: $ 1900 Insurance: $ 257 Car expenses: $ 1025 Utilities: $ 210 Phone, cable, internet: $ 220 Food, entertainment: $ 600 Clothing, household expenses $ 175 Credit cards and other loans: $ 300 Other expenses: $ 1100 Daughter: $600 Remaining Income: $1350 This remaining amount is more than enough to cover our Prosper loan. |
