Over the past year I have built a new company (Healthcare Foodservice Sourcing Advantage or HFSA www.hfsadvantage.com); to date I have signed agreements and received relationship fee payments of $5,000 each from a dozen prominent independent foodservice distributors. Additionally I have signed agreements with two web application service providers for data management and web order entry services. Since April we have begun to sign up customers through our customized HFSA-Elite program that allows the authorized distributors to sign up all foodservice chain business they are servicing to the Elite program. By virtue of our membership with Foodbuy (www.foodbuy.com) we are able to collect and process rebates for these customers for a fee. As of today, there are over 400 customers signed up and the revenue to HFSA will be over $200,000 over the course of the first year. This revenue will begin to flow in September of this year after a sixty to ninety day setup period with the 300+ vendors issuing the rebates. We will additionally begin to contact national long term care chain business at the end of this month which will round out our projected revenue stream through May of 2009 to about $1.5 million. The purpose of this loan is to substantially ratchet up our web site to provide a more polished and deeper content offering. We also want the web site to act as functional portal where all current customers go to find product information as well as to place their online orders, etc. An additional budget consideration will be to produce a modest but professional looking brochure for mailing to prospective customers and to put in the hands of the distributor sales teams. As currently laid out and with the customers already on board, I would like to repay this loan as well as my other Prosper loan by the end of 2008.
