Purpose of loan: I am a recent graduate of the University of Oxford. I received a post-graduate teaching degree in Secondary Mathematics. While I was a student in Oxford, I performed with a local theater group. Every year, for the month of August, they head to Scotland to perform in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. They have invited me back, which is a great honor, as this does not happen often. It would be my last chance to go with them, as a performer, to this amazing place that is a dream for all stage actors. The majorityof this loan will be used to buy my plane ticket, pay for housing for the month, and other expenses such as food and local transportation. The remaining portion of this loan will go towards paying off a $2000 student loan that I incurred in order to attend Oxford. The reason I would like to pay it off with this money is so that I only have to make one payment, instead of two - consolidation just makes sense. My financial situation: I am a good candidate for this loan because I have a steady job as a math teacher and I am well respected and liked by my students and employers. Although I have only been there for seven months, I have been given increasing responsibilities dues to my hard work and organization. I am also experienced with paying monthly payments on my current student loans and I have excellent credit. I am responsible with the money I earn, as well as with the money I spend. This would be a great investment for anyone. |
