I am requesting a loan to help me rebuild my credit. I requested 5,000.00 on my prior listings in order to help me pay a couple of old debts that appeared on my credit report. I have since paid those off. I would like the lower amount to just help me restore my credit. I am more than happy to talk with you personally to explain my situation in more detail or to provide any documentation you request. I went through a rough ten year period but have overcome all of what I went through during that time. However that time did leave me with very bad credit. My bad credit is a result of the struggles I went through and some poor money management skills. I have been through credit counseling and educated myself on money management and have taken responsibiltiy and control of my finances. I have pulled a recent copy of credit report. It is somewhat deceiving so I would be happy to discuss it with you. What you see is 8 current deliquents. Untrue. Every one of those date back to 1998 with the most recent being 2003. I have paid most of those and others I cannot find what collection has them. All of my other bills are current as of 2004. There are three positive lines of credit I have that are not even showing up. I am very serious about repairing my credit and have been working very hard at repairing it and getting my credit score up. I have done a lot of hard work over the past four years in getting my life together. The only thing still hanging over my head is my credit. I have a budget that I would be happy to share with you. I was informed by a loan officer at Wells Fargo the best thing I could do is take out a loan and establish new line of positive credit (but they wouldn't loan to me!!!). So that is what I'm trying to do. even by paying off my old debts they still show up on my credit as past deliquents but paid. So it has not helped to raise my credit score a whole lot.
I am a very honest and responsible person who really has worked hard at rebuilding my life which includes being financially responsible. Even if I don't fund I hope I am in a position to help someone else out on prosper someday. This is a great place. Thank you. |
