Purpose of loan: Pay towards college debt and son's tution. My financial situation: I currently owe my college $4,208, and have to start payments on July 20th at $700.00 a month (and that took finesse - they wanted $1000.00 a month) As of July 1st, my rent goes up 1575.00 (from 1400). I have peroneal tendonitis which requiries physical therapy, for which I pay $300.00 a month (I have been going since March, so I've already spent 900.00 and will to have to continue until October or November. My son's semi-annual tution is $2200. I usually pay upfront because they otherwise expect a payment of $900.00 a month. I pay in August and February. As you can see it's the little things that caught up with me. My rent is going up an extra 175.00 and my savings ibeing, albeit temporary, lost due to an injury (at 300.00 a month.) Also, having to pay 700 a month even a short while puts things in an even more uncomfortable spin.
