I have an offer for at least a $125,000 annual salary from a corporate law firm, but I don?t start work until September/October. (NY firms are raising their salary to $145,000:

I'll have plenty of money once I'll start work, and I can try to get a salary advance -- but not until later this year. In fact, my firm will even cover stuff like bar preparation, etc -- but I?m not sure if I have to put the money up front.

I am finishing my last semester of law school, but I have various expenses before I start work:
-typical law student expenses
-graduation ceremony expenses
-need to prepare for the NY bar, which happens before I start work, in late July
-need to put down deposit money and real estate agent fees and moving fees for an apartment in NY, because I?m not planning on living with my parents
-need to buy basic furniture, etc...
-need to buy a corporate-firm ready wardrobe (when I worked there last summer, I slid by w/a few suits)
-need to pay for travel expenses
-etc etc

I?m also willing to verify information if, but I don?t want my details (name, which firm I worked at) floating around out there.

I?ve known the leader of my group, cellardoor (who has invested 1000?s of dollars here), personally (not just on the internet), and you can contact him to find out that he?s able to personally attest to all of this ? my situation, my offer, etc. He?s willing to and would rather lend me some of the money directly, in fact, outside of prosper, but realizes that he probably needs to put his money where his mouth is if need be. He?ll be investing in my loan on Wednesday or Thursday, when his newest chunk of money clears.
