Purpose of loan: This loan will be used to repair my 2002 vehicle that I use to get back and forth to work. It will also be used to buy a generator to keep our sump pumps working when we loose electricity. I plan on also using part of the loan to pay off a higher interest personal loan that we currently have with our credit union and also to pay back the escrow account on our mortgage account which will bring our mortgage down to where we can breathe. I also plan to pay off the one credit card that we have and only keep it for emergency use. I would also like to purchase an add'l wood burning pellet stove to help offset our oil consumption this coming winter. I owe a co-worker some money for purchasing an airline ticket for me to go and take care of our grandson in CO during a crisis my son and daughter-in-law had when they unexpectedly lost their babysitter. I would like to use part of this loan to pay her back for the ticket. My financial situation: I am a good candidate for this loan because I work for a small Town and realize the financial committments and sacrifices we all have to make with the economy the way it is today. I've only held two jobs over the past 16+ years and they both have been with a Town. My recent change in jobs was prompted by a proposed elimination of hours and retirement benefits. I could not continue to meet my (our) financial obligations at the proposed rate of pay. I, therefore, made my part- time job into a full-time job in another Town. However, I still took a $7,000 annual cut in pay and I'm still trying to find another part-time job to supplement our income. In 2004 my husband and I built a new home after living in a small (890 sq.ft.) home for 21 years. The builder walked away without finishing the new home and with the remainder of the proceeds from the construction loan! So our "dream home" which we moved into in 2005 is still not finished but liveable! I raised a son by myself for eleven years, during which I purchased that small 890 sq.ft. home and worked three jobs and never lived or relied upon welfare. I take very seriously my obligations and I'm very dedicated to my job and my family. If I eliminate the extra amount on our mortgage escrow, I will be able to make this loan payment without any problem. PLEASE CONSIDER ME FOR THIS LOAN, SO I CAN HAVE THE WEIGHTS LIFTED OFF MY SHOULDERS AND I CAN BREATHE AGAIN! |
