Hello Prosper Neighbors, I am a single mother of a beautiful baby boy. I have had many financial highs and lows over the past few years, due to some bad choices and layoffs but my son has given me a renewed sense of direction and I know that for him I have to do my very best. That is why I am asking for assistance from the Prosper.com community. I have been on my job at a major university for the past year now and it is my goal to return to school next year to pursue my PhD. My employer will pay for this degree as long as I am employed there, so you can rest assured that I will be employed and able to pay back any loans. I am also going to have payments automatically taken from my bank account, so that ALL PAYMENTS WILL BE ON TIME. I also want to give back to the prosper community by becoming a lender in the very near future. With this loan I will be able to pay off all of my old debts while reestablishing good credit at the same time. As you can see from the budget below, I am more than capable of making the payments. My only credit card is an Amex which is only used in emergencies and is paid off within 30 days of usage. Monthly Budget Income: 2,200 (after taxes) Rent: 600 (I live with family) Childcare: 300 (My aunt) Student Loans: 200 Groceries and Misc: 400 Extra: 700 Thank you in advance for your help and support in getting back on my feet. |
