Purpose of loan: This loan will be used to refinance my Wells Fargo Visa account, which has been closed since 2003. I have previously posted a listing for this same purpose - at that time, in November 2007, the balance on the account was $4080. I have since sold my car and have used the savings from the lack of a car payment to pay it down to under $1600. I have an existing Prosper loan which I have chosen not to pay off at this time. I have made the decision to apply extra debt payments to more high-cost balances, which has worked out very well so far. My financial situation: I am a 28-year-old software developer in a stable position with an annual salary of $80,080. The table below represents my averaged spending for the past 6 months. The figure is net taxes and contributions to my retirement account. "Discretionary" includes such monitor budget items as subscriptions, clothing, entertainment, gifts, etc.
