Purpose of loan: This loan will be used to pay off two credit cards totaling nearly $20,000. My financial situation: I am a good candidate for this loan because I have a good job with an affiliate of General Electric Nuclear Energy. This loan was due to my wife having problems with her teeth that cost us $45,000 to fix. At the time I was a deputy sheriff and had an insurance limit of $2000 per year for dental work. Thus, since her health was at risk, we charged the work to credit cards. To explain the deputy thing, I took a break from engineering to pursue a dream and became a cop for five years. I met my wife as a deputy (she was the complainant, not the perp!). The picture is my wedding picture with her and my parents. Now, I have been back in engineering for almost three years and trying to work off the debt, but I could use some help. The credit card interest rates are in the neighborhood of 15.5%. I have never even been late on any kind of payment (home, car, credit card, etc.) and I intend to keep it that way. |
