I learned of Prosper in February 2007.  I was in bad financial shape, but had a plan which I continue to execute.  Two things important to know about my listings, then vs. now:
**CREDIT GRADE- comparing my listings it appears my grade has not improved, but that is not the case.  At the time my first listing funded my score of 566 would have barely earned me an ?E?.  It shows up as a ?C? on that listing because I joined just before the scale was adjusted. 
**DTI- the 26% DTI on my first loan did NOT include nearly $6000 in collections which I have paid off using my Prosper loan.
