Purpose of loan: This loan will be used to? I have several credit cards with percentage rates that are getting just goofy! I'd like to transfer those to a lower rate and make one payment per month. I would also like to buy a fuel efficient motor scooter to ride to school on a daily basis to beat the gas prices in California (and everywhere...sheesh). My husband and I have a couple of emergency home expenses (on our older home) that went on the credit cards for expediency's sake and we'd like to convert those to a more sensible long-term financial solution, as well as get that house painted this summer. My financial situation: I am a good candidate for this loan because?I am a full time teacher with a master's degree and am married to same. We have a very reliable income, great work ethic and Prosper just makes sense for our "out of debt by 2010" strategy. My car is close to being paid off (his is free and clear) and in addition to our home, we have a vacation cabin and property that is also free and clear. We like things to be paid for and this is a great way to do it. |
