Purpose of loan: I have been paying down my first Prosper loan and am very happy to see my debt declining. Everything went so well with the first loan, I decided to move the balance of my debt to a second loan. I love the idea of being debt free within 3 years. Changing from a revolving type of debt plan to an installment plan has made a huge difference in my spending as well. My financial situation: I have been on my job for 6+ years, have 37% equity in my home, contribute monthly to my 401K. In the last year I have worked diligently and reduced my personal debt by 12K. This is just another step in that process.
