Introduction: My name is Courage and I'm a Med Student in Atlanta, GA. When I first started going to College, I didn't know what I wanted to become so I got a Degree in Govt. and International Studies. And after a year later, I realized that going to Law school was not me. After researching and soul searching, I went back to school in 2003 to become a doctor. And I love every second of it. Loan Purpose: The purpose of this loan to pay off my 3 accounts that are past due. I had 8 and I paid off 5 recently. By paying off this debt, I will increase my credit score and have a better chance at having a financial security. Also paying off my debt with help build my credit score and my chances of becoming a homeowner is more likely. My father currently pays an average of 1000 for rent and he mentioned to me that, he would rather take that money and pay my mortgage instead of paying for rent. Credit Issues: As you can see from my credit rating that I have credit issue. All of my past due accounts are from back in the days when I was a Freshman in College. MAF Collections Services................AMT $245 Needs to be paid off and then they have agreed to help me take it off my report when I dispute the account. Asset Acceptance...................$2000 to Settle. (Now this account was taken off my credit report for being 7 years or older debt, but now they have stated that the last date of activity was June 2002, The creditor is saying that I made a payment in June but I never did. Reality the Last Date of Activity is May 1999. Recently I had the account investigated and now my credit report states that it will be on my credit report until June 2012....According to the advise I received from Experian was to call BBB and contact my State Attorney, Its too much drama and time for me right now since I'm working and going to school........So I'm just going to pay them off and hopefully I don't have to deal with them. Portfolio Acquisition........$741 Delinquencies in the last 7y: I have had 8 accounts delinquent in past 7 years, My first listing here was in May for Surgery, however I ended up funding this through other means. After my surgery in June I started working as a bartender and since the cash is great. I have been using the money each week pay off my debt. Repayment Ability: I'm currently working as a Bartender, I have been there for almost a month and half and I love it. In the last Month I have made over $1800 and I hope to make more as I work as I continue to work there. It?s a classy club in a great area so the tips are good. My other income is allowance from my dad each month and I have student loans on need basis.
