Purpose of loan: I am a Prosper lender and borrower trying to pay down some high-interest credit cards. Currently I have one at over 20% that I would like to eliminate entirely. I have been a prosper lender for over a year and a borrower for over 6 months. In that time I have not missed a payment nor do I plan to. My financial situation: I am a physician in Ohio with a steady income and I take my debts very seriously. I have never failed to repay any debt and do not plan on starting with Prosper. I think this is a great site and have been lending here for almost 2 years. I have nearly 40 loans on Prosper as a lender and the income from those loans actually will hlep to cover the payments on this loan as well as my previous loan (barring, of course, a disasterous wave of defaults).
