This is my second loan with Prosper. I have already paid off the first loan. Purpose of loan: I would like to pay off higher interest debt with this loan. I am currently paying 28% on loans with HSBC. My financial situation: I am currently self-employed and have been since 1999. I have a fixed income of $5000.00 after taxes which I receive from a stipend. I am not taking money out of my business for the time being. My business is within the realm of marketing. I own an agency with a partner which sets up marketing strategies for small to medium sized businesses. We also organize seminars, trade shows and musical presentations. My business is showing a profit at this time, however, we are reinvesting in order to help it grow as much as possible. We currently have a data-base programmer, a web designer, a html coder, 2 graphic designers and a secretary. We have recently opened a pet product import business that sells online at our site www.uzezoo.com. I also sell on MercadoLivre. MercadoLivre account is: vitoriaja . On MercadoLivre I am selling pet products. This loan will be paid off with automatic transfers made to Prosper on a monthly basis. Monthly net income: $ 5000.00 Monthly expenses: $ 4350.00 Housing: $ 600.00 Insurance: $ 150.00 Car expenses: $ 200.00 Utilities: $ 200.00 Phone, cable, internet: $ 500.00 Food, entertainment: $ 400.00 Clothing, household expenses $ 300.00 Credit cards and other loans: $ 1500.00 (I pay this amount but my minimums are much lower). Other expenses: $ 500.00 Conclusion: This loan will help me to organize various high interest loans and pay them in one place. It will also help to be able to pay the debt off within 3 years. I am a strong candidate as I am actively improving my financial situation. I have already repaid a Prosper Loan in full. Your help, big or small, is greatly appreciated. Negatives on Credit: The delinquents were in 2005 when I owned a Brazilian granite export company. The company had problems and I was left to clean up the pieces. I paid off more that $20,000 in 4 months. The public record was for my 1999 taxes which my accountant had forgotten to file. I have dealt with this with the IRS and have was told that this would be removed more than 2 years ago. |
