Hi!!! This is my story: I am young, getting over DUMB decisions I have made, and I am working hard to start a new life. I am looking for a loan to pay off my credit card debt so that I can lower the monthly payments I now have and therefore I will be able to pay my loan off more quickly. Having this loan will enable me to close the accounts I have and pay off the balances? in a timelier manner, therefore my debt to income ratio will decrease, resulting in a better FICO score. I have four credit cards with high interest rates, the average of the four is 21%, and the balances on the cards are quite high. I am just looking for a fresh start. I feel as if I am too young to be in this kind of situation, and having this much debt at my age, and having nothing to show for it is ridiculous. I have learned from my mistakes, and I just want to fix them before it gets much worse. I plan to use the money to pay off the four credit cards and then make additional monthly payments with the interest saved. I will be able to pay this loan off in less than two years, and hopefully by that time my credit score will be good enough to finish college and one day buy a home. I simply need the lenders on Prosper to give me a chance to get caught up with my debt and to improve my credit rating so that I can live a less stressful life.
